Hansen Happenings

Big man gave his first talk in primary. We had him all dressed and ready to go and then he decided to come up with his own outfit as well. This is how he looked for church and his talk.
Jeff, the boys, and Grandma Susie went to Hardware ranch last weekend. It's in Hyrum, Utah. They went on a sleigh ride and saw lots of elk. It was cold, but they had a great time.

And finally today we went to the Draper temple open house. I didn't get any pictures of us there:( It was great. The temple is beautiful. The boys were so excited to be able to go in. They thought the baptismal font was great. Big Man was looking at the pamphlet right before we left the temple. He saw a picture of the font and said, 'we saw that'. The next picture was of Jesus. He looked at it and said, 'let's go see Jesus'. I wish we could've. Jeff asked him tonight as he was putting him down to bed how he felt in the temple. Big man said he felt warm and good. Jeff said, did you feel anything else. He said, yeah, I felt the Holy Ghost. Jeff asked him how he knew how the Holy Ghost felt, and he said the boys on the bus were talking about it. Jeff sat by him on the bus and didn't hear anyone talking about the Holy Ghost. He's such a cutie and he continues to amaze us.

Sounds like you have been busy! Isn't that elk farm great! My brother Nick lives in Hyrum and takes some of our family each year. I also ran through that ranch when I ran the Logan Marathon. It's so pretty and the elk are neat!

So Big Man gave his talk! He looks VERY handsome! Madi has ATTEMPTED many talks. She has them memorized at home, but she has NEVER actually said anything in the microphone at church.

That is a neat story about the temple! Aren't kids AMAZING!
