Fun times

Big man is excited for baseball season to start. While we were fixing Baby H's dresser he found this outfit and put it on. You'll never guess what size it is- 3/6 months. He wore this outfit when he was 5 months old. We took him to Chicago to see some Cubs games. What a nut.
Cuddling on the couch. Baby H loves her brothers-even though they bug her ALL the time. They were all chillin on the couch and it was too cute to pass up taking a picture.
My binky babies. One day little man will give it up-one day.
In other Hansen family news, we finally have heat again. After four long days without heat, we have a brand new furnace. Not exactly on the top of my wish list, but regardless we have one. We stayed warm over the weekend with our fireplace and space heaters in each of the bedrooms. I can't wait to see that gas and electric bill.
I am staying busy with lots of fun new things. Tuesday afternoons I get to hang out with a bunch of 8-year olds. I am the assistant Wolf leader for cub scouts. I've only been in for a little while, but I've had a lot of fun so far. I'm getting a glimpse of what I have to look forward to with 8-year old boys. I'm also teaching one night a week at SLCC. I'm teaching Business 1050. This week will be week #3. So far so good. In the afternoons, the boys and I go to the gym so I can exercise and get an hour of peace and quiet. The gym has an awesome child care center and the boys love it. Baby H does really well too. I'm hoping by summer all (or most) of the baby weight will be off. We have a routine and it's good to keep busy. That's about all the news from here.

She's getting big!!!

This is my new favorite picture of Baby H. Her feet barely touch the floor on the walker's lowest setting, but she likes to sit up and see what's going on. It won't be long before she's all over the kitchen in that thing. I love the expression on her face. I can't believe how big she's getting.

This picture is great because it shows her chub. She's learning so many new tricks. She's discovered her voice. Morning is her favorite time to talk. She'll goo and then scream. She even surprises herself sometimes. The boys love to hear her talk. This past week she's learned to blow spit bubbles. You can kind of see them in this picture and yes her shirt is covered in drool. I sure hope she's not teething :)

Hansen Happenings

Big man gave his first talk in primary. We had him all dressed and ready to go and then he decided to come up with his own outfit as well. This is how he looked for church and his talk.
Jeff, the boys, and Grandma Susie went to Hardware ranch last weekend. It's in Hyrum, Utah. They went on a sleigh ride and saw lots of elk. It was cold, but they had a great time.

And finally today we went to the Draper temple open house. I didn't get any pictures of us there:( It was great. The temple is beautiful. The boys were so excited to be able to go in. They thought the baptismal font was great. Big Man was looking at the pamphlet right before we left the temple. He saw a picture of the font and said, 'we saw that'. The next picture was of Jesus. He looked at it and said, 'let's go see Jesus'. I wish we could've. Jeff asked him tonight as he was putting him down to bed how he felt in the temple. Big man said he felt warm and good. Jeff said, did you feel anything else. He said, yeah, I felt the Holy Ghost. Jeff asked him how he knew how the Holy Ghost felt, and he said the boys on the bus were talking about it. Jeff sat by him on the bus and didn't hear anyone talking about the Holy Ghost. He's such a cutie and he continues to amaze us.

What a helper

Just one time I would like to get ready without helpers in my bathroom. If I put lotion on, little man thinks he needs to put lotion on. Except he doesn't know when to stop.
Baby H was enjoying some quiet time in her crib watching the mobile. I went upstairs to make my bed and I came back to this. Little man had put a blanket on her and put his music by her so she could hear it. What a helper.

I was informed by big man that if you sleep with your shoes on your feet won't be cold. Try it if you want to, I think I'll pass :)

New Year's Fun

Big Man strikes again. If one puzzle is fun, then eight should be quite a blast. Except for the fact that mom and dad now have to figure out which one goes where. They may just go in the garbage.

One of my favorite things about the holidays is getting together with friends. Last Saturday I went to lunch with a bunch of friends from my ward growing up. Today I went to lunch with some of my friends from Jr. High and High School. This is Keri with Baby O. She's an adorable baby with so much hair. I wouldn't know what to do with that much hair on a baby :) Maybe one day I'll know.

Keri and Bethany. I didn't get Bethany's cute baby in the picture. She slept through lunch and I didn't get any pictures of her. I didn't get any pictures of me and Steph on the other side of the table. If you have one Steph, please email it to me :) It was kind of funny getting a table for four adults and three babies.
I took this picture of Baby H after I came home from lunch. I think she gets cuter and cuter every day. Her little smiles and expressions just crack me up.

Dad and the boys went down to the "farm" for New Year's Day. They had a blast sledding and pushing snow with the tractor. On the way back, Jeff asked the boys what their favorite part of Christmas was. Big man said Wall-E, Little Man said Pajamas. Next year I'll just skip the toys and get him some nice jammies :) We apparently need two cameras to capture different events on the same day. Maybe next year.
