Little Princess Turns 4.

I told Little Princess that we could do something fun on her birthday with just the girls, so she said 'let's paint our toenails'. I decided it would be fun to take her for a pedicure instead. I got the pedicure, she got to get her nails painted. She was in heaven.

Jeff is hunting this week and gone today.  When we got home these pretty flowers were here.  She loved them.  I won't mention that I didn't get flowers when he missed my birthday last year for hunting :)  Just saying...

After getting our toes done, her lunch of choice was McDonalds.  Wahoo :)
It's been a pretty great day.  I can't believe she's 4 already.  She's such a smart, sassy, kind, loveable little girl.  I'm so glad she's a part of our family.

The Hunter

Two cute things about this picture-#1 Little Man lost his upper tooth the other night.  The one right next to it is on it's way out too, so soon he'll have a nice big gap.  #2  Little Man is pretty excited about his first kill with his BB Gun.  He got the gun for his birthday and up until this he'd only done target shooting.  Jeff said he was about 20 yards from the bird and got it on the first shot.  He's pretty proud of himself.  What a cutie.

Crib-Free!

As The Mover outgrows stuff, I've been getting rid of it. There are some indoor yard sale groups online and I've sold all of our baby stuff. I found a cute day bed on this yard sale site and decided to make the move to a bed. The other kids were all about 17 months when they got their beds.

The first night was a little rough, and one night I woke her up when I moved her back up to the top of the bed. She decided to stay up partying until 2:30! Ugh. Other than that she's been great. She loves it.

A lot of my friends have been posting their pictures of things they've been canning. I've never canned before in my life, but wanted to. We got some extra shelves in our storage room, so I have space to store them. A friend of mine was going to pick some green beans at a neighbors house that had LOTS of extras. We spent about 2 hours picking the beans and then today we canned them.

I knew it was a lot of work, but whew, I didn't know how long it would take. It was fun though. I hope to do more!

How many kids can fit into a tent?

How cute is this picture.  Little Man got this tent for his birthday and all the grandkids wanted to try it out.  That's a good looking bunch of kids right there.

Uncle Andy's Wedding...

Last Thursday was Jeff's brother's wedding. The ceremony was Thursday night after Little Man's Birthday party. The reception was on Friday. We decided to go all out for the girl's hair on Friday. I had a good time with my little 'dress-up dolls'.

The Mover's hair doesn't hold a curl for very long-especially after being in the car for 45 minutes, but it looked pretty cute right after.

I got more pictures of the hair prep than I did of the actual wedding.  It was at American Fork Amphitheather.  It is beautiful there.

I stole this picture from my Sister-in-Law, because I did not get a picture of the bride and groom.  They were beautiful and everything was really nice.  Congratulations Uncle Andy and Aunt Estee!

Little Man's Cowboy Birthday

My kids are getting big! Little Man turned 6 yesterday. He's turned into quite the cowboy lately, so of course he chose a cowboy party.

Here is (part of) the invitation we sent out.

I let Little Man invite the friends he wanted to. We invited 12 kids. I thought for sure that some would not come, but EVERYONE did! It was a little crazy with that many little boys running around, but it was fun.

A couple of years back my mom did a Cowboy Christmas and made these cute little holsters, and used pie tins to eat from.  She let us borrow them for the party.

Little Man wanted to do a pinata, but I decided to find a cowboy craft instead.  I found this online and printed them out.  Then I had everyone I know save toilet paper rolls for me.  I thought they turned out cute.  The boys colored them, cut them out and glued them, then we filled them up with candy.

As the boys walked in we took their pictures with this cute wanted sign (also courtesy of my mom).  During the party, Jeff printed them out and we let the boys take them home.  They were instructed not to smile and look mean, but some couldn't resist.  Cute boys!

It was the craziest 90 minutes of my life, but it meant the world to Little Man.   Not 45 minutes after the party ended, we got dressed up and headed up to Provo for Jeff's brothers wedding.  It was quite the marathon day!

Little Princess's First Day of Preschool

Waiting two weeks after the other kids start school is pure torture. She handled it well though, and today was her turn. She was SO excited. When I told her to go get dressed, she picked out one of her random summer outfits. It was all I could do to get her to wear this.

We had to get a backpack picture.

At her table ready to go.

Now to enjoy my two hours of peace while the baby naps :)

A Cowboy in the Making...

The quality of this picture is not great. I took it from my husband's Facebook page.  I thought it was pretty cute.  Little Man bugged Jeff to go for a horse ride today.  This was his first time riding by himself.  He was pretty proud of himself.  He is really into being a cowboy lately.  He has all the gear-a belt buckle, spurs, a cowboy hat, cowboy shirts, and for his birthday later this week, he's getting chaps.  He's a complete nut-that's why we love him.
