OUCH!!!

I told you little man is not as innocent as he looks. He inflicted quite a bit of pain on his brother last week, although he was provoked. You'd think big man would've learned not to take things away from him.

Easter Fun

Okay, I know I'm biased, but aren't these the cutest boys you've ever seen? I thought they looked adorable in their Easter outfits.
We had an Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Papa's house. They had a blast. Little man was old enough to really get into it this year. He got a good number of eggs.
Grandma and Grandpa gave little man a golf club and he was hilarious trying to swing it to hit the ball.

Arizona Trip

What a whirlwind week. We left last Sunday afternoon and drove to Arizona (in stages). The boys thought it was a great adventure to stay in a hotel, watch movies in the car and drive mom and dad nuts. We tried to break up the driving by stopping in lots of different places. We visited some of the areas of my mission as well as some friends. Jeff's main purpose of the trip was to watch two spring training baseball games for the Cubs in Mesa. The boys had a great time at the baseball games. Big man thought he could have any treat in the park (and he mostly did). Man are they expensive-the treats and the kids :)

We were able to go to the Mesa Easter Pageant our last night in Mesa. It was awesome. If anyone is ever in Mesa during Easter you need to see this. I'd seen it on my mission, but that was a LONG time ago. We had the privilege of going with the Meaders, a couple that was baptized while I was on my mission. It was fun to see them again and share the experience with them. The boys actually sat through the program and big man asked lots of questions about why they were hurting Jesus.

One of our many stops was at Glen Canyon Dam. Big man called it a roller coaster. He thought it was pretty cool that we got to drive over it.
The Grand Canyon may not be the best place to take two energetic kids three and under. They of course wanted to run around and there are not railings everywhere. Jeff was a nervous wreck the whole time. Where's a leash when you need it.

We did find this nice little platform that the boys could run around on. It was their little stage. They ran and ran for a good 5 minutes. Everyone walking by got a kick out of watching them.

More baseball pictures. We all had lawn seats for the first game. Jeff had an actual seat for the second game, so me and the boys didn't stay the whole time. I wasn't up to chasing them both around all by myself. I did sit by some nice people from Chicago that tried to help. The games were during the heat of the day (80 degrees) and during naptime. Not a good combination. I wouldn't want to sit still either.

Doesn't he look like trouble? He is. He thinks he's as big as his brother and he tries to do most things he does. He's also starting to say a lot of words that we can actually understand. He's got quite the little personality.
We had a great time on our trip. It was hard to come home to 40 degree weather after being in the sunshine for the better part of a week. It was a lot of driving, but the boys were pretty good. Next time, we'll definitely fly :)

Sunday Fun

So what else are you going to do on a Sunday morning when you're home sick from church? Build a fort of course. It does require ALL of the couch cushions and blankets in the house. Good thing they were all upstairs while we were remodeling our basement.
