San Diego Day One

This November is our 10 year anniversary. Jeff and I had talked about going on a trip with just the two of us, but it's hard to leave all four kids. I also thought if we were going to spend money on a trip, we should make it a family vacation. So we decided on Lego Land and San Diego. A lot of the kid attractions are free in October, so our trip got bumped up to Fall Break weekend. When Little Princess was about 14 months, we took the boys to Disneyland and left her home. The mover is a little older, but still young enough to make a long car ride miserable, so we left her home this time. It was still a SUPER LONG CAR RIDE with the older three, but we made it. We spent the night in St. George last night with my grandpa. It was a short stay, but it was fun to see him.

The first stop after checking into the hotel and a quick swim at the hotel pool was Coronado Beach.  The kids loved going over the huge bridge to get there.  Our attempts of  'stay out of the sand and water' were not followed.

We got to witness a wedding-ahhh!  There were tons of engagement photos being taken too.

The kids loved the random man with a parrot.

Tomorrow-Lego Land!
