Ute Stampede and Mini Drill Camp

Little Princess needed something fun 'just for her' this summer so I signed her up for a mini drill camp that the high school drill team puts on. It was 3 days of instruction and then they got to be on the float in the Ute Stampede Parade. She absolutely loved it.
On the last day of instruction they performed what they learned for the parents.

I couldn't get her to look at me while I was taking pictures.

Before the rodeo we went to the carnival.  It was pouring rain, but the kids still had fun.

This little girl was pretty excited to go on the rides this year.  She had a blast.

I will have to add pictures of the rodeo in another post.  They are on Jeff's phone.  Finally, this is getting ready for the parade.  Little Princess looked adorable with her hair all curled.

We ordered a small shirt but somehow got a medium. We made it work though.

Last year it rained during the parade so it was cut kind of short.  This year it didn't rain but it was HOT.  Little Princess looked a little bored on the 'float', but she had a good time.

The Mover didn't love the parade as much as the boys, but she did enjoy eating all the candy.
