One last photo to remember Little Man with his bink :) He took this himself.
And finally, how do you spend your Saturday night? Mine was spent making baby food. (After getting Little Man to bed). I didn't make baby food with my other two, but with Baby H, I thought I'd give it a go. She is loving her fruits and veggies and wants to eat every time we do. I made sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, peaches, and pears. Pretty impressive, huh? It was rather time consuming, but hopefully this will last us a while.

Saturday Night
HE DID IT!!! Little Man cut up the only remaining binky. It was his idea. He went and got the scissors and right before he cut, we asked him if he knew what that meant-no more binkys. He went through with it. Nap time went pretty well. He only asked for his binky twice and when I told him it was gone, he asked to go to the store and get another one. Bedtime took TWO HOURS. The last half hour I finally went and laid by him. Poor little dude. I'm proud of him though.

Too Cute
Having a girl is definitely a lot different. It's fun. Not only do you have to worry about an outfit, but accessories and tights too. Baby H got her first haircut this week. You might be thinking that she didn't have any hair to start with and you're right. What she did have was uneven and patchy, so we decided to give it a jump start. With the boys, whenever we cut it, it would grow in thicker and faster. Hopefully this will work.
Mom and Baby H right before church last week. I think it's funny how she doesn't look a thing like me.

After Little Man having pneumonia last week, I was definitely ready for a break. That didn't happen. Baby H always has a runny nose and cough so I don't think too much of it, but in the last few days it got much worse. So today we headed back to the Dr. She has double ear infections. AGAIN. This is her third ear infection in 5 short months. Poor little thing. Looks like Augmentin is going to be in permanent supply in our fridge.
In other news, Little Man spent some time at Grandma's this morning while the rest of us were at the Dr. While he was there, he cut his binkey. He was pretty proud of himself. We've been prepping him saying that if he gives up his binkey he can play t-ball. So he did. He was fine with it until nap time, then he completely freaked out. He only cried for 5 minutes and then nothing. I was thinking that wasn't too bad. When he came down he had found another binkey in his bed.
I have a feeling this is going to get ugly :(

Cleaning off the Camera
I never know what I'm going to find when I clean off the camera. Here are a few of the pictures. Big man is trying on Jeff's new backpack. He thought he was pretty cool.

I'm not quite sure why I'm putting this on here. It's not a flattering picture at all. This is however my common expression when someone is taking my picture when I don't want them to.

Big man takes the most random photos. I see my house in a whole different way when I view his pictures. The little stinker is not supposed to use the camera, but he always manages to surprise me with pictures.

They're growing up...
I am amazed at how quickly time goes by. I blinked and February is almost over. I guess that's both good and bad. When I look at my kids, I'm amazed at how big they're getting. Baby H cut her first tooth tonight. That would explain why she's been so ornery this last week (that or her ear infection). Both the boys got their first teeth about the same time. She'll be 5 months old on Friday. It's fun to watch her learn new things. She also makes the craziest noises and makes us all laugh. She loves to watch her brothers. When I think they're bugging her to pieces, she's actually quite entertained by them. She lets them know if she doesn't like something, but overall they can get her smiling and laughing better than I can.
Little man is quite the character lately. His reply to everything is "I need to". Occasionally he'll get what I call his insomnia nights. This is where he'll wake up in the middle of the night and it will be 2-3 hours before he goes back to sleep. Last night it happened, but it was more like 4 1/2 hours before he went back. It's not like he plays in his room quietly when this happens, he needs someone to be awake with him, so I was the lucky one.
Big man is really making us smile lately. He's getting so big and amazing us with all he's learning. He definitely has his moments where we want to pull out hair out, but for the most part it just makes our heart melt when he giggles or smiles. He is the best big brother and is very helpful with his siblings.
Jeff just had a birthday on Sunday-so he too is growing up :) Four months out of the year, I am officially OLD, but now we're the same age again. We had a fun time going to dinner and a movie. I hope he had a fun birthday.
I am going to officially declare on my blog that I've lost it. Having Baby H really did me in. This week I discovered that BOTH my temple recommend AND driver's license have expired. This might not sound too bad until you realize when they expired-back in October. I must have been really braindead that month. The driver's license expiration was discovered at my credit union when she asked for a current ID. At least I wasn't pulled over or anything. The temple recommend story is much more humiliating. I actually went to the temple and tried to get in. The worked scanned it and then told me it was expired. Duh, I can't believe I did that. Anyway, I guess it's kind of funny after the fact.

Recent Happenings
It's been a while since I blogged. Things have definitely been busy around here. We had Jeff's sister and family in town last weekend. She has boys close to my boy's ages. They all had a great time together and got along surprisingly well. Sadly, I did not take one picture all weekend (what was I thinking). Big man had a Valentine's party on Thursday. He came home with a ton of treats. Every day for two weeks he'd ask if it was Valentine's Day yet. He was pretty excited. Friday for Valentine's Jeff and I went to our Ward dinner and dance. I don't think Jeff and I have danced since before we got married. It was fun. We also took all the kids to see Bolt at the dollar movies. It was a cute show. It was fun that with all the adults and kids we took up an entire row.
Here are some random pictures from the last little while:
I had to take a picture of one of Big Man's Valentine treats. There is a supermom in his preschool class. Every time the kids have to bring treats, she always outdoes herself. I don't know who she is, but I'm impressed with some of the things he brings home. I have a lot to learn :) Especially since this is my first child. By the time Baby H is in preschool, maybe I'll have some good ideas. The treat is a box of sweethearts covered in orange paper with an Ipod list. The earphones are reece's peanut butter cups. I thought it was pretty cute. Much fancier than the Nerds we supplied.
I don't know if I got the lighting and angle quite right to show the extent of the purple bruise on Baby H's eye. Big man was playing with Thomas the Train on her tent toy right above her. It slipped out of his hand and fell right on her eye. She was pretty sad. I'm sure this is the first of many bruises and injuries.
Little man is quite the nut. He thinks our pantry is a buffet. If it's unlocked, he'll pull the bar stool up and pick out his snack. He makes quite the mess in there too.

Crazy Weekend
Doesn't this look cozy? This is how most of our weekend was spent. Jeff got sick last Wednesday night and was in bed for three days straight. I've never seen anything hit him so hard. He even went to the Dr. on Friday which means he must've really felt crummy. Big man came down with it Saturday. Little man just had to be in on the action of having a popsicle. He's usually a few days behind his brother in catching illnesses, we'll have to see.

The other event of this past weekend (and week) was Baby H trying cereal. The first few times I mixed it with milk and she tolerated it. Today I mixed it with applesauce and she LOVED it. She really gobbled it up. She also decided she'd had enough of tummy time and decided to roll over. It was cute to watch. After the first time her brothers thought they needed to help her. Now they won't leave her along-poor girl. It's fun to watch her grow up and learn new things, but it also makes me sad how quickly she's doing it. Before I know it she won't be a baby anymore.
